BIOGRAPHY
Jaime Hall is a commercial litigator who has conducted scores of hearings and trials at all levels of the BC Courts, the Federal court and administrative tribunals over the past 35 years.
His experience covers a broad range of commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on construction and real property claims.
He has extensive experience in complex work outs of distressed construction and resort development projects as well as disputes arising from failed property transactions.
As the operator of a commercial fishing business in his younger years, Jaime applies a practical and common sense approach to his cases.
Jaime advises property developers and contractors during project construction to address possible disputes at an early stage, often utilizing his mediation training.
Jaime has always been active in the community and has frequently spoken on legal topics to industry groups.
He served on the City of Victoria Board of Variance and has 20 years’ experience as a board member and Chair of non-profits addressing housing affordability and homelessness.
